Fishing on The Gardner River 9/9/04
Jim & I parked at this bridge and walked down to the river.
After just a couple of casts a nice little brown grabbed this parachute pattern out of the foam.
Bill and a Brown.
The next was a rainbow.
And another beautifully colored rainbow.
Streamside flowers. Can you see the caddis fly on the flower?
I'll try for you again next year.
Rainbow on!
Nice view.
This was excellent dry fly fishing.
This is a view looking up Lava creek from where it converges with the Gardner river.
Lots of fish.
Jim on the Gardner.
This sort of thing went on all day.
Interesting shot.
I don't get to fish for brown's where I live so these are a treat.
I love the big red spots.
This fly accounted for quite a few fish.
I thought this made for a strange photo.

After coming to some deeper holes I switched to a cone head muddler and did very well with it as well. |
Bighorn sheep.
Another shot.
I'm sure a hopper pattern would've worked good.
Another falls for the muddler.
Always check your rear view mirror.
