Quinault River Rainbows 7-18-03

After the road ends... the fun begins.
Quinault River Panoramic. Use caution the current is swift & powerful. Most of the river is just too deep to wade.
The fish average about 9-11 inches and are quite quite feisty. Jumping & Running.

The fish really liked this size 8 muddler.
This is where Graves creek runs into the Quinault, 4 nice fish where caught & released here.

The fish start to get smaller in the creek. Back to the water little one.
Beautiful deep blue pools.

Back on the Quinault the trout are biting.
5wt. rod, 7 ft. leader, 4x tippet, 1 muddler, & floating line = Nice Bow!
