Patterns & Step by step instructions Flies tied by Bill Pitts unless otherwise noted. Cased Caddis Thread - Brown 6/0 Hook - #8 Heavy Streamer / weighted Body - Some of the scraps out of the scrap bag (that means everything, krystal flash, deer hair, feather scraps) Head - White yarn burnt Legs - Partridge *Notes - I first saw this type of caddis body tied by Don Johnson. This is sort of a Norvise only fly but you might want to try it in a dubbing loop.

Chain Eyed Fuzz Head Minnow Thread - Brown 6/0 Hook - #8 Heavy Streamer / weighted Body - Gold braided Tinsel Tail - Pheasant tail barbs Wing - Tan Mallard/pheasant tail barbs/2 krystal flash strands Head - Unknown dubbing? Help! what is it? Can't remember where I got it. Spun with Norvise or dubbing loop. Eyes - Round chain *Notes - This set of flies came about from experimenting with the "rolled muddler" pattern. The rolled muddler is used a lot in the northwest for sea run cutthroat. I've found that sometimes the trout seemed to hit better on the more subdued colors in some of the local streams. Also I was looking for a less buoyant material to use for the head rather than deer hair. This is what I ended up with. I got the head materials in a sample pack from somewhere and I don't know what it is. Can someone help? I would like to find some more. Click here to see what it looks like. It's kind of sparkly like antron or something but it is course and dubs very spiky.
