Tim, Bill, Jim Montana Trip 7-25-06

The Gardner River, MT

With quick stops to check out the Yellowstone, Firehole & Madison rivers.

The Gardner River, below the high bridge in Yellowstone N.P. Tim & Jim are off to the right in this set of photos.

Jim snaps this self portrait with Tim in the background.

A quick little break after climbing down into the canyon.

I hook a nice one at the tail end of a pool.

And it's a rainbow!

We saw these crap suckers on a leaf... these babies look scary.

A few more rainbows but no browns this time.

These Bighorn Sheep where hanging out up above us on the mountain side.

Here is a pano showing Tim fishing off to the left.

When Yellowstone was just starting off as a new Park grasshoppers were often the preferred fishing bait.

The pass between Tower falls & Roosevelt lodge.

Elk.
