Tim, Bill, Jim Montana Trip (Day 3)
7/22/06 The Gardner River, MT
The Gardner River near Gardner & Mammoth YNP Montana.
Some interesting rock layers in the Gardner river canyon.
Another view along the river.
The Gardner in the canyon.
This is another photo by my brother Tim. No cactus where we live in WA.

I contemplatin the fish population of the hole behind me.
The Gardner River canyon inside YNP Tim & Jim are in this picture click on it and see if you can find them.
The first fish I caught was this Mountain Whitefish.
Next I caught this little brown... Small but nicely colored.
Since we have so few Brown trout where I live I just love catching these and this one was bigger.
A parachute style fly gets this brown in a pocket close to the bridge.
Here is a nice brown that Tim caught.
Here is another nice one caught by Bill.
Here is a nice cutthroat caught by Tim.
Bill catches a nice rainbow.
Another Bow.
You gotta love the spots on these beauties.
This size 14 brown quill parachute pattern did very well.
A photo taken by Tim of the Gardner River Canyon.
