Tim, Bill, Jim Montana Trip (Day 2)

7/21 & 22/06 2nd Camp Big Creek, MT

We noticed this sign when we stopped for gas, this must be part of America's new freedom. We all felt so much safer so we gassed up and headed down the road with a renewed sense of safety and security.

Big Creek Montana which is really not very big at all.

Big Creek Montana, you just sort of have to imagine these photos wrapped around you to get the proper perspective.

After driving through Idaho, West Montana and a quick stop at the fly shop in Livingston we stop at camp number 2 along Big Creek.

Being from the western part Washington State we get a lot of blackberries and huckleberries but we do not see a lot of wild raspberries so once we found these natural munchies growing all over the place we just couldn't resist making pigs of ourselves.

I'm not sure what these are but they are really neat looking.

We had to watch to avoid the stinging nettle.

Bill & Jim.

Jim attempts to carve a canoe for the following day.

While Tim watches in amazement.

Bill handles to tools to many a trout's doom.

I'm the morning Tim summons the sun for a fine day's fishing.

OK, let's go...

Breakfast time then a nap.

Bill has other idea's.

Just a quick cast before leaving yields a nice little rainbow (w/ size 10 puffhead).

A beautifully colored Big creek rainbow goes back to the water and we head for the Gardner.

Go Back...
