Yellowstone National Park Trip Sept./Oct./2003

Did I mention the campground at Mammoth. Well by the time we got to Mammoth the campground was full. Good thing we were driving the RV. After finding the nearest place to park and sleep we were unconscious and dreaming about hooking trout.

Elk. The next morning just a few feet from where we parked.

The road along the Gardner river has changed sides many times this picture part of the old road.

After catching a few rainbows on the Gardner we packed up and headed for the Lamar Valley.

The view along blacktail deer loop road.

After driving east we arrive in the Lamar Valley and one of my favorite fly fishing rivers the Lamar.

The first of many Yellowstone cutt's that day.

Another one on.

Size 14 & 16 trude did very well.

Fish on!

This one smiles & winks for the camera.

Typical fishy water.

Typical Yellowstone cutt.

Ditto.

Jim & Bill

Couldn't keep em' off.

Size 14 quill body's did well.

Another one gives it up.
